How to delete Vantage 1.3.4 theme to update to version 1.4

Installing Theme from uploaded file: vantage-1.4.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
Destination folder already exists. /mnt/data/vhosts/casite-646919.cloudaccess.net/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/vantage/
Theme install failed.

I have tried to upload the apptheme updater plugin but it doesn't save as zip file, so it won't upload as plugin. Based on other discussions it appears that I need to delete current version 1.3.4 from themes and upload version 1.4 into themes and activate. Question is how do I delete current version from Themes? Host provider says that since Vantage is a 3rd party product they don't have a solution.
