    Issues adding a header

    I'm not real teach savvy! I tried to change the header image but my header keeps having a "just another WordPress site" across it. Also there is a App theme Ad across it on the right hand side. How do I get rid of these? What is the actual dimensions of the header space, mine looks to be too small. I created my header with PowerPoint using the banner size.
