Non-featured listing on Homepage - not in slider

Hi,

We are using the Directory child theme and I posed this question to them and they referred me here, to the Vantage forum. Basically we are looking to create a "mid-level" tier of directory listings that get the vendor the following:

- featured in category
- listed on homepage (non-featured at the bottom of the list, under featured listings)
- not in the slider

I am hoping there is a combination of features/variables I can choose to make this happen. If not, can someone guide my to the customizations I might need to make in order to create such a display?
