Problem with vantage events 404

My Vantage theme is working perfectly for listings and I can add an EVENT however, when I click on the event on the front page I get a 404 for each event.

I also get a 404 after adding and event when it says "go to event"

Something is obviously wrong with the path or something but I can't figure out what is wrong.

Some help would be welcome at this point.
