URGENT: Vantage Dashboard & Permalinks problem
Hi,
I have a Vantage site which has the permalink settings for the Vantage dashboard set to 'dashboard' - as it comes out of the box.
But when you go to
www.mysite.com/dashboard, as a logged in user, it takes you to the Wordpress admin area - i.e. /
wp-admin/index.php
This happens regardless of what sort of user you are.
If I set the permalink to be something else, such as mydash, I get a 'page not found' error.
I have 5 Vantage sites in development, and all the others work fine, showing the Vantage dashboard with favourites, listings and so on. This site is on a Zeus-based server, and not an Apache server. Could that cause the problem? On Zeus servers you don't have an .htaccess file, but a rewrite.script instead. Any ideas on how to set this to avoid the behaviour above?
I see in the changelog for vantage, that there have been issues in the past with the dashboard and permalinks and wonder if this is connected?
Any help gratefully received, as I am really really stuck on this, and obviously it's a huge problem for my client, who is unhappy at users being pointed to the wordpress admin area!
Many thanks in advance
