Vantage theme not working... Is it the Php memory??

Hello,

I installed the vantage theme with no error messages but when I log out and try to log back in, I cannot access the wp-login page, it takes me to a page from my webhost.

I have tried deleting the theme through FTP file manager and that brings back the login page, but no theme obviously.

I have contacted my webhost to increase my php memory limit *and they said they did it* but there has been no change.

Is this still a problem of there not being enough php memory? How much php memory should I get them to allocate?? Or is this something else??
