why is the address bar listing pages like this http://66.147.242.170/~youngnor/listin

My site is www.youngnorfolk.co.uk, this comes up in the address bar for only the front page, other pages it shows for example http://66.147.242.170/~youngnor/list...ategory/dance/
how do I get it to be http://youngnorfolk.co.uk/listings/category/dance for example?

I am not at all techy so I hope there is a simple explanation for how to achieve this!
