    wordpress admin to edit page not showing

    When I view the page, I do not have the WordPress toolbar across the top to go back and edit the page. I have to access a page or post thru the dashboard. I added 2 lines of code in custom css field to show the dash, but do not know how to add the tool bar to edit the page. The setting are correct on my wordpress user profile?
