Working around non inclusion of recurring payments

Hi, I have recently purchased Vantage..Can anyone explain to me exactly how payments currently work.

If I pay for a 30 day listing, does it auto request me to go back after 30 days to pay again, or is this automated..or is my listing simply pulled without notification?

Or how does this work..I do not see any documentation..
