General setup issues

How do I set up and configure the listing search on an inner page, not the home page? I am not able to find documentation on this, but apologies if I've missed it. I am building a lawyer directory, and have an inner page called "find a lawyer" that needs to show the listings search and other general info, but do not see how to set this up. Thanks for your help,
