Changing the Green Bar

Alright so I'm having some trouble changing the colour of the green bar on the homepage. Below is the screenshot.

I know that there has been this thread before created by @bvsa (see the link below to the thread). He also resolved the issue by stating "edit wp-content/themes/hirebee/styles/modern.css" -- However the thread was then closed. So i am here to ask for some further explanation from someone. I have located wp-content/themes/hirebee/styles/modern.css in filezilla but i do not know what to do from there. The thread has been closed and it does not allow me to post anything after it. I need to get this green bar changed because it does not suit the colour scheme i have.
