Additional Rules About Selling in Forums
As of February 25th, selling products or services in the AppThemes forums will be prohibited. Our goal is to use the AppThemes forums to provide you with outstanding support for our application themes and Marketplace plugins and child themes.
Threads that are perceived to be selling products or services will be removed.
We encourage members to recommend plugins, child themes or other products that help solve a customer's problem. However, we caution users from using this exception to get around the no selling rule.
The no selling rules also extend to signatures.
- Links to sites that sell goods or services related to WordPress, AppThemes, hosting, or similar are prohibited
- You may link to your own AppThemes powered sites – we encourage you to share what you have done with our themes
- Any link with affiliate data is absolutely and completely prohibited
The appropriate channel for selling plugins and child themes related to AppThemes products is through the AppThemes Marketplace. If you have a plugin or child theme that you would like to offer to AppThemes customers, please read our Marketplace Sellers' Guide (
