Custom Fields for Job Post

Would like to be able to add/delete fields for the job submission. And be able to change the required vs non-required fields.

I've checked the post details but have not found any entries in the custom field area. The fields must have been created in different manner.

We may have to refer this to the developing team so as allow the creation of additional fields.

I'm also looking for an answer to this question. Could anyone please help us.

Yes - I have had to go and get a developer to customize the form. It's one thing if this was your first theme - but given that Classipress is mature and has all the features many people want - you would think Job Roller would be a better derivative theme of Classipress. Like others maybe we should have bought Classipress and just customize the front end to look like a job site.

Please get custom fields into the form!!

We considered adding the ClassiPress custom fields engine to JobRoller but held off for a couple of reasons.

-Most job posting sites have the same set of standard fields
-Wanted to launch v1.0
-Get feedback from customers
-See if customers even need the custom field engine

What sort of custom fields were you looking to add?

Church (Company) Size: eg 100-250
Church (Company)Denomination: Baptist (Web Design Agency)
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
All Drop Down menus

Thats for my specific project - but I use the brackets to show how a regular company could use it. Job seeker might want to search for jobs only in web design companies, or baptist churches...

These fields could be like a job type function... the admin defines the list, and the poster selects the option from a drop down menu or multi-select list, and the seeker can search/filter by these lists.

Seems quite easy actually.

v1.2 request - Custom fields

Continuing on from the job salary/date request, is it possible to include the custom fields addition (I believe as seen in CP)? Would make posting a job a much more straight forward process and can lend to niche job boards very well
