4 Column Footer Widget MOD

I need to know how to add a 4 column Footer Widget. Similar to this JobRoller Child theme I purchased and then realized it didn't work correctly because I had to have JobRoller installed (not a customized version) and I'm working on this for a client trying to modify the JobRoller theme I don't want them going directly to this site and buying it and just doing it all themselves... although that might not happen. I just want it to be customized without JobRoller all over everything and I've done most of that and now I just want to add a footer.

I know very little php. Can someone tell me which files I need to modify? footer.php and what... function.php and what? etc... there is allot more to this theme than I am used to.
