How to modify front page?

Hi,

I just purchased the theme and am wondering how to modify the front page of the theme.

I'd like to add some text below the header in the main space above the search features.

The default setting gives me "title" and "tag line" can be edited in theme customize feature but I don't think I can find any place where I can put my text in that place.
