Jobroller search issue

Please do not move this thread to another place or try to redirect me to some thread which is not helpfull at all.
I have enabled allow_url_fopen and I still have problems with search results. When I search for jobs in a particular city with radius of 50 miles I get the jobs that match the specification but also I get listed all the jobs that are posted right after the ones that I need.
I have installed 1.6.5 and it still happens so it's not something that I have done.
I have enabled allow_url_fopen by adding php.ini file and an enabling line to the htaccess file.
I have tested it with this line of code ;

echo ini_get('allow_url_fopen');

I get 1. It means that is is running.

I really need help with this one and I expect Appthemes team to stand forward and help out with this issue. There are a lot of us with this problem.
