Radio buttons in job packs

Hi all,
I have changed the php script for the job pack radio buttons so the free job packed isn't automatically selected, however, when someone submits a job I would like an error message to appear if they haven't selected a job pack.

Can anyone help me figure out the code to validate that a radio button has been selected and if it hasn't it should show an error message instead of taking them to the next screen.
