I created a new test user and completely bypassed the captcha requirement. Yet, I was signed up successfully.
It seems there is no checking anymore (wp 4.0.1). Did not see any checking on register-process.php file. Also the anti-spam q&a set in the settings does not show on the registration form.
Please update to the no captcha recaptcha, thank you
