    SOLVED! So sorry for wasting your time... i forgot you walked me through changing cp_contact_number to cp_phone in the sidebar-contact.php, in 1.3.5.4. Did it in .6 and its working great.

    Boom! That is just what i wanted. thanks! and i updated to 1.3.5.4 while i was at it. SR is by far my favorite child theme, and our site cedarcityblogshop.com has been jamming for years with it....
