No difference between single or multisite...
wp-config.php is located in your site's root directory. AKA within the same directory where you see the wp-admin, wp-content, and wp-includes...

I use Ad server solution for publishers, advertisers & networks | OpenX it is free and you have the same functions.

Blog pages and Archive get their listings from loop.php and this is what you are setting via admin panel, these are actual blog pages.),

Homepage (index.php) and search gets its listings from...
