The naming of Front Page Default Tab options is unfortunate..
It should be ... 1st, 2nd, 3rd tab and it should represent the tabs as you see them on the front-end.

We have submitted our translation files to AppThemes. Should be available shortly!

It is possible but will require code modification. In the mean time you may post a request on this at the ideas exchange page http://ideas.appthemes.com/classipress/.
