    Acouple of questions about vantage

    1. can you have text links to all of the categories (locations) on the front page, and all of the rest of the pages, to help pass the link juice as well as for navigation ?
as you would have the category links on any other wordpress site ?
i mean the main categories - not the sub categories.
i.e. if it was a car website - then
one main category would be "ford cars"
and another (by location) would be "new york"

    2. on here
    http://docs.appthemes.com/tutorials/...ents-settings/

according to this its not possible to have different prices for different categories

    3. on here (same link as number 2)
    http://docs.appthemes.com/tutorials/...ents-settings/

listing surcharges - is this for featured listings, or normal listings ?

    4. do featured ads go in specific categories ?

    5. can featured ads have different rates for top 1,2,3 adverts ?

    6. the featured ads are for the top positions at the top of the page, can the ads be displayed at the right hand side of the page instead ?

    thank you in advance

    1. Categories appear in the Vantage dropdown menu, so adding them to the homepage as mentioned would require customization on your part, but technically it could be done.

    2. & 3. It's correct that pricing cannot be set specifically for categories (like you can in ClassiPress), however you can allow multiple category selection which is where you can add pricing surcharges for specific categories.

    4. No, featured ads are simply highlighted and shown as "featured" and determined by whether you set for featured in the category or homepage.

    5. You can either feature an ad on the category or the homepage (or both), but there are not other options.

    6. This would require customization on your part if you were looking to change the default position of listings. Thanks.
