I don't need to have the actually solution (/code) now, just want to know before buying this theme (and plugin) whether I will be able to work with it to achieve what I am trying to achieve. I'm really just looking for an answer as to whether it will be possible to have an advanced search on the homepage, before I invest the money and more time in the theme at the risk of later discovering it won't be possible. Just trying to get the best accuracy of what I'm getting into with regards gto my project.

Well, at this point you know it is possible to have complex advanced searches wherever you need on your site based in ClassiPress.
