Altering the "Refine Search" options

In addition to customers listing ads, they will also list events. Is there an option to include an event date? If having a date IS an option, then how would you search for events by date...ie... Joe Blow wants to go to an event in the next week or two, he searches for events, "refines" the search by date, and now he see what events are happening. Is this possible with Classipress?

ClassiPress doesn't have an actual events functionality built into the theme, but you can create custom fields and search those custom fields. The only issue with this not being a proper calendar date selection, is making sure that everyone would use the same/correct date format when entering in the data for searching. There are event/calendar WordPress plugins available, however we do not officially support these and cannot guarantee that they would definitely be compatible with the theme. Ultimately it would likely require some additional customization on your part if you wanted the customer to select from a calendar. Thanks.
