    Question Problem with "refine search" - categories are duplicated

    My site is only for a single town.
    I need the search engine "Near" to work for the villages. But I found it's not possible.
    So I setted the parents categories for the village.
    and the children categories for the activities: restaurants, hair dressers, etc.

    The question is: can I set: ONLY SHOW THE PARENTS CATEGORIES IN "REFINE SEARCH" ?

    If I use a custom field "Village", can I set the search "Near" to use this field?
