Blue Host $3.95 Special - Do You Have A ClassiPress Link?

BlueHost.COM has a $3.95/month link available through many places currently. The ClassiPress link leads to a $6.95 link though which deeply diminishes the value of the ClassiPress 50% off deal! Is the $3.95 rate currently available through you?

As an example (not meant to promote anyone), http://b2evolution.net/web-hosting/top- ... p/bluehost leads to the standard http://www.bluehost.com/ page but with a line through the $6.95 price showing a replaced $3.95 price. It might just be a link change for you to link to his offer. If you have it, I will use your link to preserve my option to buy your product for 50% off (for a while anyway).

    Thanks!

I don't know for sure about this side of things, but will look into it for you and will post back once I hear anything...

However in the meantime, just looking briefly into the $3.95 per month hosting promo, this price is applicable for those taking 2 or 3 years plans with Bluehost (fyi). Good price though!

They must have a special arraignment with BlueHost. I just sent an email to my biz partner at BlueHost to see if I can offer the same sort of deal. Hopefully I'll hear back from them today. It will probably be the same deal for 2-3 years though. Not sure I'd want such a long-term commitment regardless. They are a great host provider but I'm not a fan of long-term contracts (i.e. cell phone contracts 2 year min).

If not, make sure to clear all your browser cookies before you click on the ClassiPress BlueHost partner link otherwise I won't be able to offer the 50% discount to you. The cookie set from the other site will get credit.

Do you recommend Blue Host or someone else as the first choice (if there is one)? I agree with you on the long term commitments but if I am happy, I'll probably be there for some time.

If I buy one copy can I get the 50% deal if I go for the unlimited license during some time period? I have a domain, VintageRadio.com that I want to put a classifieds site on. If I like it (and I believe that you have a very good product no matter what), I have other domains where a classifieds site may be of value especially one for a related subject that comes to mind.

Also, I know HTML and how to build a very basic, non-award winning site and can get it on line. What is the learning curve here? I probably need to learn whatever is needed for this anyway but is there anything external that needs to be learned first?

    Thanks for your help!

I'll chime in here because I had a problem with Bluehost.
Service was great so was support.
The problem I had was because I host a lot of file. I mean ALOT! and while they don't have a cap on drive space, they do have one on file number.
Reason i was told was because when they do thier scans and monthly backup it can take alot longer if there are many files.

Keep this in mind if you are hosting a bunch of sites.

Like I said, otherwise they were good.

I recommend both Blue Host and Host Gator. I have plans on both providers and have had no problems.

I haven't heard back from my BlueHost biz partner so I'm assuming the deal is only for exclusive sites. You can either wait until next week and see if I hear back from him or go ahead and sign up at the $6.95 price. If you think about it, it's only $36 extra ($3/month) but on the flip side, you'll be saving up to $75 (Classipress Dev pack). Just do the math for whichever option you think works best for you and go with that.

You can only get the 50% off the first item you buy. You can always upgrade later but it's a better value to buy the dev pack using the coupon.

Make sure you understand WordPress and then follow the install guide for CP. It's designed to be pretty easy to use for non-techies.

I guess that I'll wait til next week as the 12 month. plan is $4.95 through that link. I don't know why they would limit you on that but lots of marketing games are played especially in hosting. Many places do seem to have that $3.95 special though so they haven't made it real exclusive!

Re: Blue Host $3.95 Special - Do You Have A ClassiPress Link?

So I finally heard back from my Blue Host contact and he said "We discontinued the $3.95 promotion rate yesterday (February 28th) so most sites have removed it or are taking it off of their sites shortly."

    Sorry I don't have a better answer.

Re: Blue Host $3.95 Special - Do You Have A ClassiPress Link?

    Hi!

I just signed up for $6.95 vs. $4.95 (I did find a still active window) at Blue Host using your link. I bought one other classified script as it offers the option of having stores for customers which I want for one or two sites. (This is where you tell me that you do too!). I do find your software to be quite interesting too though so I want to buy the $75 developers package and decide what I like best and likely use both.

Please tell me that it went through OK. I did delete cookies and browsing history (twice yet!) before proceeding. It will be a miserable moment if it didn't work.

It should have worked and I believe I already sent you the coupon code. It's hard to tell since people have different forum names. ;)
