Hi! I haven't seen a PM here or an email. My email forward went dead for several hours yesterday as Go Daddy dropped it for some reason. I don't think that affected it but I could have missed an email due to that.

Is there a web page we can go to sign up for the special, as well as become eligible for the 50% theme discount?

Also, when I click on the blue host link it takes me to their website, though there is no affiliate information in the url, so it doesn't look like wpclassipress.com would be credited with the referral.

Help anyone?

This does not seem to be the case per this post. That special does seem to be going away. You pay them $24 more but you save $75 here if you are buying the developers license. Probably very soon you'll just pay $24 more and may not get the greatly reduced price option here either!

They seem to have masking of some sort (unfortunately). When I looked at links with the special price, the URL was just the basic http://www.BlueHost.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; no matter what. SEEING that your link was working would be nice rather than having a sort of 'roulette' feel to it! That is a suggestion for Blue Host though, not ClassiPress.

BTW - MANY Blue Host links are now showing $7.95 for the first year option! $6.95 may be the new 'good' price soon.

Can someone confirm that if I click the Blue Host logo or "sign up" text from the "Wordpress Hosting" page and purchase hosting that I will be eligible for the 50% off theme discount?

I bought Blue Host via the link here for $6.95/month. I haven't seen a coupon yet via private message or email. I did have an email outage that may have caused this if it was sent. Go Daddy dropped my email forward for most of Sunday and Monday which killed most of my email on those days.

I thought about it and my Go Daddy provided email outage was sometime Sunday (or early Monday) to about 5AM Tuesday morning. Sorry for the extra post. I didn't find an edit mode to update my last one. :roll:

Yes, as long as you first clear your cookies and then click on bluehost or host gator on the wordpress hosting page, you will qualify for the discount.

Make sure you clear your cookies first though because I've seen some instances where someone forgot to do this and the sign-up didn't show up in our partner report and we couldn't pass on the 50% discount.

I really, really did this. I cleared cookies not once but twice before clicking the link on the wordpress hosting page for 'Blue Host'. I paid an extra $24 for the first year by doing this rather than using a still active $4.95 link that I found. The cookies were cleaned just before I clicked on the wordpress hosting page. Nothing else was done in between.

I guess that it didn't work though. NO coupon received. :?
