    Bulk Ad upload With ClassiEstate

    Hi,

Is it possible to upload listings en masse in csv with it's respective photos represented correctly in ClassiEstate? I have gone through some of the threads here in general and it seems to have indication that images are a problem? Many thanks for your kind attention.

    Regards,
    Daryl

Hi Daryl, ClassiPress does not include a built in .csv importer, so in order to carry out a bulk ad import you may need more than an import plugin for the job. What has been indicated in the other threads you may have seen is that some of the import plugins found are not necessarily compatible with custom post types (which ClassiPress uses), so the fields do not import into the correct location (i.e. the ads are importing into "Posts" instead of "Ads"). To resolve this, you would need some knowledge of mysql admin in order to run a custom query for the ads to be moved to the right place, with all the right fields. This essentially falls out of the scope of "official support" so we would advise you only look at doing this if you have mysql admin knowledge as there is not existing documentation for the process. Thanks.
