Can someone who knows please explain the differences between clipper and couponpress?

Not trying to be rude, but am shopping for the best coupon platform to build on. I have experience with one product from each vendor and to be honest, the support on appthemes has been superior in all regards. Still, I want a platform I can make money with and wondering which one would be best. I know I am not giving many specifics but it would be nice if folks who want to run coupons could set up, pay for and manage their own coupons. Looking for honest answers here please. I don't know enough about the other theme for an actual comparison, so can really only tell you about Clipper: You've got two methods of adding coupons to your Clipper site, and that is either manually; you as admin can do this individually, or in bulk using the .csv import tool and/or you can allow users to post coupons either free or for a fee. For an auto feed of affiliate coupons, you could use the Commission Junction publisher plugin available in the AppThemes marketplace. So monetization comes via affiliate links or the actual cost of people posting coupons manually. Thanks.

thank you pepsi. are you saying that merchants could sign up for and pay for their coupons without any other help from us? what about uploading a coupon picture, etc.? is that something they can do themselves too? thank you and have a great day:-)

If you allow the coupons to be published without any moderation then your customers could pay to post a coupon and it will publish immediately. If they're using a coupon image then yes they can upload this themselves. This is what they will see when completing the form as per the Clipper demo site. Bear in mind that they can only add one coupon at a time, not in bulk. Thanks.

the link you sent me is for the responsive version or the regular version. i was trying to get help yesteerday live and they said the demo was down for responsive and would take a day or two to get back up again. they also told me that they only knew about regular coupon version, not responsive. i am only interested in responsive. thank you:-)

The Clipper theme is not yet responsive, however this will be the case from version 1.5 as indicated on the theme release status page. Thanks.
