Cant search in 2 categories at the same time?

Hi, I cant seem to search in 2 categories at the same time.

This is a problem with every classifieds script i can find.

Do you know a work around? I may be able to purchase your script if so.

I have tried things like appending multiple categories to your search url.

Eg from this
http://demos.appthemes.com/classipre...earch&scat=220
to
http://demos.appthemes.com/classipre...h&scat=220,221
or
http://demos.appthemes.com/classipre...h&scat=220+220

neither worked.

Any ideas?

Im trying to have a category Dealers>>Cars and a category Private sellers>>Cars which in theory can store the exact same classified for a car. If your searching and only want to search private sellers, thats easy enough, if your searching and only want to search all cars, you cant, because you can only search 1 category at a time.

Finally, if a seller has a membership, is that viewable on their profile? Eg I want my dealers to purchase a membership, but I also want people on my site to be able to tell its actually a dealer.
