Carousel on Category pages, and show the featured ads only from that category?

For the carousel that shows the featured ads on the index page, can that be easily added to category pages so that on category pages it only shows featured ads from the current category?

This would be a customization of the theme, so in short, if you have the coding knowledge to implement these changes, then yes it is possible.

Would this be something that can be accomplished with help from the forum? (i.e. are there other threads about how to do this by members who have this plugin?)

I know there are existing threads on this kind of topic with people wanting to achieve a similar kind of thing, but I don't recall seeing any plugins related to it, or shared tutorials on it just yet.. It's not to say no-one has achieved it though..
