Is it possible to add a drop-down city filter as the category filter in the nav bar? So it will be the keyword, category /subcategory and location (city) for the search bar. I also saw that there is basically no dropdown option in the advanced search box in the category pages.

Adding a drop-down filter would require customization of the default theme on your part, but it is technically possible given the coding knowledge to implement it. You can create drop down options in the advanced search field if you wish, you can see this from the setup page of the ClassiPress admin dashboard "field type". Thanks.
