I am also looking to use this similar to like craigslist but to a more specific demographic. Is there a way to set this up for multiple cities like craigslist?
There are currently no options in which you can allow listings without ad banners included depending on membership settings. Either you have the ad banners on, or off for all listings/users.
ClassiPress does not have a multi regional functionality like you see on craigslist, as all ads are posted in the same installation. With some customization and installation on a WordPress multisite setup you could achieve a similar result as some of our customers have done this, however this is not an "out of the box" feature of ClassiPress. If you chose to stay with one installation of the theme, you can use the advanced search functionality in ClassiPress to filter further results by location as you can see on the ClassiPress demo site in the form of the "refine results" section of the sidebar.
