There is no option for this built into ClassiPress, as payments relate to the placing of the ad itself, not payment made after an item has been sold. It would require customization on your part if you were looking to implement such a method into the theme. Thanks.

Thanks for your fast reply ;-)

Okay….is it permitted to integrate something like this (commissions)?

If I understand you right, there is an option (in classipress) to receive/require payments from user (seller) for the ads itself (before appear)? How? Via Paypal?

And…what about receive/require payments (from user/seller) to push their ads to top of listings, highlight their ads, set coloured backgrounds on ads, etc

ClassiPress is not encrypted, so you are certainly free to make whatever modifications you'd like in order to achieve what you're looking to do. For those looking to modify the theme, you can find useful information here.

Yes that's correct, you can choose whether or not you wish to charge customers to list their ads on your site. These options include: Fixed price per ad, Price per category, % of sellers ad price, or Only charge for featured ads. You can create as many ad packages as you wish (i.e. list ads for 30 days for $5), or even allow subscription option, which allows a fixed price for unlimited ads within a certain time frame. You can see more of this on the ClassiPress admin demo. The default payment gateway built into the theme is PayPal, however you can find other payment gateway plugins in the AppThemes marketplace.

As mentioned in the pricing options above, you can charge for featured ads separately to the actual ad listings, but there aren't other options included as you mention. Thanks.

    Thanks for your reply

I know that the following (additional) questions aren’t on right place in this thread! But..it is very complicated (Forum-Threads, Contact-Forms, E-Mails, etc) to communicated with all of you developers to get the important information’s for right classifieds-system, before starting!

So..would be very nice of you, if you will answer here ;-)

    - can we place additional advertisement-ads as these witch are in your demo, like footer?
    - can we change language (German) automatically? Via Plugin? Via integrated menu?
    - can we change design, like background, etc?
    - can we use additional widget’s (sidebar, etc) like in normal wordpress theme?
    - what about footer-menu like: imprint, general terms of business, privacy, etc?
    - can we remove: copyright by classipress and powered by wordpress……in footer?

    - can we place additional advertisement-ads as these witch are in your demo, like footer?
Yes, you can configure single ad page and header ads via the "Advertising" tab of the ClassiPress settings, and use widgets to add them to other configurable widget areas such as the footer via the Appearance > Widgets screen as seen here on the admin demo site. You can also find ad related plugins in the AppThemes marketplace here and here for more advertising options.

    - can we change language (German) automatically? Via Plugin? Via integrated menu?
Our themes can be translated into any language with more info here on our languages page. There is an existing German translation already available for ClassiPress here.

    - can we change design, like background, etc?
Through customization, yes. We recommend the use of a child theme so you don't lose all of your changes in the process of an update.

    - can we use additional widget’s (sidebar, etc) like in normal wordpress theme?
Yes. See link above for configurable areas. Please note that AppThemes does not officially support third party plugins, so we cannot guarantee that all plugins will be compatible with our themes.

    - what about footer-menu like: imprint, general terms of business, privacy, etc?
Yes, you can add page links etc as mentioned above.

    - can we remove: copyright by classipress and powered by wordpress……in footer?
Yes, through modification you can remove the footer credits if you wish. Thanks.

    Many Thanks ;-)

    Last questions:

    - can customer set/list ads completely free?
    - is it possible to set a selection (pay-ad or free-ad) by “each time” when user will create/set up an ad - decide for themselves whether an ad is “free” or “cost”?

Yes you can choose to allow free ad posting if you wish. You can create ad packages with pre-determined price/duration. You as the admin determine the ad duration, although users can go into their customer dashboard and delete or pause an ad if they want to. Thanks.

Okay…if I understand right, there is no option to run system at same time with „free“and “paid” ads!?

    Like:

User push button “post an ad” and get selection (drop down) like:

    - post ad completely free
    - post paid (fixed price, price per category, etc, etc)

Only a (one) mode at time either paid or free!?

You can definitely run free and paid ads at the same time by creating ad packages (the settings for which can be seen on the ClassiPress admin demo here) or by using the price per category pricing models. Thanks.
