A couple of questons(Classipress)

I have a couple of questions that I couldn't resolve by looking at the demo.
1) Can I make all of the fields in an ad required?
2) Are the fields fully customizable?
3) Can you preview a listing before it's actually listed?
4) Is private messaging built in or does the private messages for wordpress work with this theme
5) is there a widget for refining your search
6) does the categories widget show the # of items in a category?
7) Can a user list an add on one page or are multiple pages/steps required?

I'm sure that some of these are obvious so I apologize in advance for the ones that are.

3) Can you preview a listing before it's actually listed? Yes the admin can decide for this.
4) Is private messaging built in or does the private messages for wordpress work with this theme. Yes both parties can communicate through emails if they like.
5) is there a widget for refining your search . The refine search is built in in Classipress. You have the option to set fields for advanced search.
6) does the categories widget show the # of items in a category? Yes it does.
7) Can a user list an add on one page or are multiple pages/steps required? The submission of an ad required three steps.

Yes this is done with the private messaging you mentioned. The person who is interested in the ad has the option to contact the poster through the sidebar's "Contact" tab.

Does this form just send an email or does the message show up in the site? I'd like for users to be communicate with each other completely within the site. thanks

There is no message in the site, the emails are send to their email addresses.
