    Coupons For Classipress ?

I have seen coupons to give a discount on classipress, but when i tried them - they do not work, they are quoted as
"Download Free Classipress Coupon Codes 2013" and the price in the shopping cart is not reduced when they are entered - even though the shopping cart says
    "Coupon has been locked"

so if the shopping cart has accepted them - why has the price not been reduced in the shopping cart ?

and if this is not correct - then what coupons are available for classipres - because these are recent ones.

We are not associated with websites unrelated to AppThemes who offer invalid discount coupons. The only promotions we have available at this time are those related to WordPress Hosting and AppThemes translations. Thanks.

ok, i assumed/thought that these were coupons that were authorized by you, and that the shopping cart was accepting them as recognised coupons, but not reducing the amount in the shopping cart.

so are you saying that there are no discounts unless we buy hosting or AppThemes translations. ? - because i already have hosting,
and when i looked at the pricing options after doing some research on her, the only difference between the $99 price and the $159 price was that with $159 you get the psd's etc - so does that mean that if you buy the $99 price (with no discount) then you have no templates ? - or does it come with basic templates - but you cant alter them ?
and if you get the $99 version - can you upgrade to the $159 version later from within the admin panel without fear of losing anything on the site ?

    also :-
you earlier mentioned about the discount on the transaltion packs
    appthemes.com/support/languages/classipress/

but there are no prices on that page - and is any "discount" on just the translation price - or the total amount ?

and the translation packs - there are different ones for each upgrade to classipress - but why doesnt it auto upgrade every time there is a new version - the same as wordpress,

and doesnt it auto - upgrade everything as well - the same as wordpress with a 1 click from within the admin ?

thank you very much for your response Pepsi

We have run promotions over the years and there have been short term coupon codes which were used at that time that are no longer valid. It's unfortunate that there are sites out there who are basically preying off those who are searching for coupons in order to drive traffic through their site, but we don't vouch for the validity of any of them as we can't control what others are posting on their sites. Some codes are simply made up discounts, some are long expired ones. As of this moment, we don't have any official promotions running outside of those mentioned.

The only difference between the $99 standard license and the $159 developer license is that the developer license includes the Photoshop .psd files. These files are useful for web designers who may be looking to change the layout of the theme (as they contain all the size/color/layout info within them, thus saving time collating it yourself), however you can still customize the standard license theme. With the standard license you still get the theme as described on the ClassiPress theme page and shown on the demo. If you don't have knowledge of css or don't really know what the .psd files are for, then chances are, you won't need them ;) But yes, you can upgrade at a later time if you find you need those files.

The promotion related to translation files is that if you provide us with a theme translation, we will offer you a 40% discount off your theme purchase (see the "We need your help" box of the languages page). You don't actually pay for translation files. We use .po files to translate our themes, and members of the community provide these to us. One of our developers posted a reason why we don't auto-update languages (I'll try and find that for reference), but the fact is, we don't.

Automatic theme updates can be carried out with use of the AppThemes updater plugin which you can read about here. Thanks.
