Hi looking to buy, my question is I want a local regional site to have categories for local business types. i.e builders, florists, entertainment etc etc.

Is there a way to import these without typing them all out?

also can't see email forms for setting up?

You can use the importing tool to import bulk listings and essentially create new categories at the same time, however it does not allow for the categories to be imported alone.

No, there is no layout option selectable from the Vantage admin dashboard as you describe, this would require customization of the default theme on your part which can be done.

so do registrations, submitted links receive no emails?

Yes, but the emails themselves are not configurable from the Vantage admin dashboard, so any changes made would currently require customization of the core theme files. Thanks.

1. Can it be set so that a form is on the page if a visitors visits a listings page?

2. How do this fit on with other wordpress plugins in particular SEO

1. Whatever custom form you set up for a specific category, the information/fields contained in that form are what displays on the listing page.

2. Although we do not officially support third party plugins (and hence cannot guarantee that they will all be compatible with our themes), there are many great plugins which do work well and we have some listed on our recommended plugins page.

3. I haven't seen specific mention of anyone using JetPack for sharing, but as per the recommended plugins link above, there are some social plugins which have been tested with some of our themes. Thanks.

VAntage and WordPress SEO by Yoast

Does VAntage word with Yoast ? it says on the page that it has not been test as at april 2012!

I have checked some recent threads from the forums and members of the community have confirmed they are using the Yoast plugin successfully with Vantage. Thanks.
