Featured Listings - always on top?

In your demo, when doing a search with a city included, the results seem to default in order of distance, with the featured listings NOT pinned on top.
For my project, I need the featured listings to ALWAYS be on top of any search or category they come up under. I also need to be able to order featured listings according to a hidden value field (highest paid goes on top, regardless of distance or name).
Is this possible?

You can set pricing options for featured listings which include "Feature on Category" and "Feature on Homepage" http://demos.appthemes.com/vantage/w...e=pricing-plan. You can also set the default sort order from within the Vantage settings: http://demos.appthemes.com/vantage/w...s&tab=listings. Anything outside of what can be done here would require customization of the default theme. Thanks.
