    Filtering on custom fields

    Hi,

I had a couple of questions related to custom fields:

    1. From the description, I believe we can have different custom fields for different categories. So this theme can be used to create a directory that spans across more than one niche. Am I right in this?

    2. Although the theme doesn't include custom fields filtering for efficiency reasons, can I extend Vantage to have custom filters show up and filter the search results on the basis of that? Is there an API that vantage provides me with?

    Thanks.

    1. Yes you can create custom listing forms which are relative to specific categories, so within those you can include fields relevant to that category only.

    2. Vantage (like all of our themes), is not encrypted, so you are certainly free to make the changes you wish to make. You can read more about AppThemes API's and other useful developer information in our AppThemes developer center. Thanks.
