Is it possible to have a map, dropdown menu, or type in their zip code on the front page so people can choose their location without changing the coding?
It is possible but will definitely require some custom coding to implement.

The dropdown menu of categories is based on the Ad categories you choose to ad. Pages are just pages also added by you in the WordPress admin dashboard.
