Going from AWPCP to App Themes

I am currently using the AWPCP and would like to switch to this theme. Has anyone done this or do you know what I should expect if i try to do this?

Also I wanted to know if you can create e-mail filters so only certain email domains can register and use the classifieds area, such as only allowing .gov email address to register?

Lastly does this include a member ship functionality? currently I am using magic members so if anyone knows whether that will work with this theme then let me know.

    Thanks!

I'm not aware specifically of anyone who has mentioned moving over from the plugin to ClassiPress, but in this instance you would likely need some knowledge of mysql admin in order to ensure that ads are migrated over to the correct place, particularly if the plugin creates the ads as "Posts", as ClassiPress uses custom post types. So if you're comfortable with mysql admin and creating a custom script to move required data in bulk (assuming you have a lot of ads), then it can be done.

ClassiPress does not include an email filter as described, so that would require customization of the default theme on your part if you were looking to add this functionality.

You can create Membership packs in ClassiPress as seen here in the admin dashboard, however this is for actual ad posting. Thanks.

Thank you for the response! I am not familiar with SQL, but do you know of any companies that might just install and migrate this for me if I pay them? Or do you think that would be a bad idea?

Well if I was to suggest anyone, it would be someone from our certified partners page, although I'm not sure they all necessarily provide this kind of service. If you make contact directly with an outline of your requirements then they can at least reply if they can do this, and should be able to provide a quote for such work. Thanks.
