    I have a question.

    Hi.
This is a very nice theme, but i have a question.

A friend has a Ads site and i'm trying to me one on my own He already has ads on his, so I will try to take them with a Auto Blogger plugin. I will take ads from him trough RSS Feed.

If I will install any autoblogger, they all post ads in ''POSTS'' category and they are viewd by CLASSIPRESS as blog posts, not ads. The pictures won't be in the ads photo place, etc.

Can I do something like that by keeping the posts for ads and not have other category ?
Or do you have a software that can posts ads from RSS Feed? or something?

Really love your theme ... !
    Have a nice day !

I'm not aware of anyone who has this method of posting ads running on an installation of ClassiPress, so I cannot guarantee it would work as you describe without some customization on your part. What I do know though, if you did import ads from another source and the ads come through as "posts", then you would at this point need to create a custom sql query in order to migrate those over to the correct "Ads" custom post type. You can't really choose not to use custom post types, because this is simply how the theme works. Only in versions of ClassiPress lower than v3.0.5 did we use the standard post type.

Though modification is not officially supported but there are some members of the community who are more than willing to lend a hand.
Please help our moderating team work more efficiently by not sending us support questions via PM. You can read more about how AppThemes support works here. However, you can send a PM to follow up and remind me if I missed your support request/thread.

Thank you and have a nice day.

but i think that would be costly. What type of technical support do you provide if someone purchases a theme?

We provide all support for our themes via these support forums, but this does not include support for third party plugins or customizations. In terms of your specific question, you're trying to achieve something that falls outside the scope of official support, because technically it is a customization (i.e. there is currently no built in function for importing an ad feed in the way you describe), therefore you need to customize your setup in order to make it work.

As Jomark mentioned, we have an active community whom you may seek support from, but since I have not seen anyone describe implementing what you speak of, I'm not sure you will definitely find someone who can help you in this instance. That's not to say it cannot be done however, but probably more suited for a developer to implement. AppThemes does not provide customization services, however we do have a Certified Partners page where you can find developers for hire.
