How are connections actually made between employeer and seeker?

    Hi there,
Wow, this is an impressive theme. I'm curious how the connection is actually made between people, though?

I'd prefer there to be a certain level of anonymity. For both parties. Is it possible, for instance, to limit the names of people resume database to first name + last initial?

Also, is it possible to not reveal actual email addresses for either party (until they decide to do that with jobroller handling all emails as a middle man until then)?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Thanks for your feedback :)

Connections for actual job applications are made via the "Apply Online" link in the single job listing page, where the job seeker effectively emails the employer directly. Although the employer email address is not initially visible, as soon as they reply to the job seeker via email of course that anonymity is no longer there. There is no feature/function to handle these any other way at this time.

With resumes there is really no restriction as to what the job seeker is able to input for their contact information, so limiting names would involve some customization of the theme on your part. This would also apply to changing the way the email between parties is handled. Our themes are not encrypted, so ultimately if you have the coding knowledge to make such changes, it is certainly possible.
