I have not seen anyone specifically mention importing a database from a Joomla, so unfortunately do not have any examples to share (not to say it hasn't been done, just not posted in our forums ;) ). Vantage has a built in .csv import tool which you can see from the
Vantage demo site, but you may also like to read the additional documentation found
here which relates to the importing of a particularly large database and may be of use. Thanks.
