    I'm looking at buying Classipress and would like to link my current blog to this new site

    Yes, so to continue ahem.... is it possible to link my (new) Classipress site with a current blog?

    Yes you can install ClassiPress in a separate WordPress installation in a sub-directory. Let me know if you need anything else.
