Mulitple Locations

I think the answer is no, but just in case, i'll ask.

Can Classipress support multiple locations, a la Craigslist? I'd like to have an entry page with a list of cities which, when clicked, will show classifieds filtered for that city or region.

Is this possible with ClassiPress? If not, is it a feature coming in 3.0?

If I could, I would give this request a thumb's up.
I want to achieve this through subdomains pointing to a URL but I am not sure how it will work. Perhaps having a mandatory dropdown to choose a city or province/state then the subdomain could point to a search page that only brings up results from that location? problem is it would always point back to the main page in the end and the user would still get results from al over.
The question is how to restrict the results to ONLY show what is in that subdomain's location.

Ideally this should be possible without the need to install multiple instances of wordpress.

I shall continue to research. I'm sure it must have been done.

WPMU could be one answer.

at least a user would only need to register at one location. Problem is you still have a bunch of WP installations.
