    navbar

The top navbar that says "welcome... Can I use that instead as a secondary navbar with links to external websites? I'm setting up a Wordpress multisite and want to showcase the other sites well.

Also, when you click on a listing I see (on the demo): No ad details found.

then a whole bunch of white space. Is it possible to delete all those words completely and have the description start at the top?

Finally is there anywhere on the home page that I can type text? Is it possible to make the home page a static page?

    thanks

You can definitely do that as the themes are not encrypted. However take note that modification to the core theme files is not always recommended as they will be overwritten when update comes. You may use child theme for this purpose.

So do you have a child theme that does all that? My most important need is the ability to type text on the home page. Can I insert a text widget where the search bar is ("What are you looking for?).

No, we do not offer child themes at this time, however as Jomark has mentioned, it is the recommended method for making customizations to the themes as it will make upgrades easier in the long run. What you describe is not a setting you can change from the ClassiPress admin, so would require some customization on your part, but yes, essentially it can be done.

Can you tell me how to do the customization so I can insert a text widget on the home page? That will make the difference between buying or not. The theme I'm using now just allows me to pick up a widget and insert it. If it's something super hard to explain, can I pay a little extra to get that feature put in?
