Thread: I need to have 5 levels of categories

I need to have 5 levels of categories

Since I cannot set up a test site I am a bit worried about the multilingual site I want to set up.
If I have 20 languages and let's say 8000 subcategories on level 5, does this system support it?
Here:
Category level 1 Country
Category sublevel 2 Language
Category sublevel 3 Services (Buy, Sell, Rent....)
Category sublevel 4 Product groups (What they show now, like Vehicles, Boats, Home....)
Category sublevel 5 Specified products (Cars, MC, Busses, Tultuk...)

Because it has to be user friendly, as by now I am, setting up a site with Joomla and Adsmanager and it is NOT user friendly.

You can certainly add the level of categories you describe, but the issue here may be that adding so many categories could potentially be very time consuming unless you can find a way to add them in bulk. There is no built in .csv importer in ClassiPress, so essentially you would likely need to look at importing the data directly via the mysql admin. Even a plugin may only do part of the process, so some knowledge of mysql admin would probably be a requirement.

If you wanted to just see the standard process of manually dding categories from the WordPress admin on a standard WordPress installation, you could sign up for a free WordPress account or download a copy (if you already have hosting), and check it out. It's the same process as ClassiPress uses, apart from the fact ClassiPress uses custom post types, so categories are created under "Ads" instead of "Posts". Thanks.
