Do I need a WordPress site before I buy?

I need to know if I need a WordPress site in order to install ClassiPress? I would just like to open a hosting account with a prefered hosting provider and install ClassiPress on their server. I'm not interested in a WordPress site, I want ClassiPress. Also, will the blog feature be available on ClassiPress if I go about this way, in other words, will I have the ability to blog on my classified site without some type of add on?

Yes you do, as ClassiPress is a WordPress theme, so it requires an instance of WordPress to run. Without it, the theme won't work.

The setup you describe with a blog and Classifieds is already built into the WordPress with ClassiPress setup.
