is it possible to remove near field in the search bar

Hi,

I have a presale question about the Vantage Theme.
I would like to start a local business directory website. Because it is a local business directory I don't need the near field on the search bar.
Is it possible to remove this field so the text input search field will only search without needing to add a near option?

There is no option to remove the field from within the Vantage admin dashboard settings, so it would require customization on your part in order to remove it. Our themes are not encrypted, so you are free to make such modifications if you wish. Thanks.
